Best tips for health care in summers

You need to take special care of your health during
hot summer months. Here are some ideas to help
you beat the heat and stay healthy under the
blazing sun!

1.Make sure you get your air conditioner serviced at home and in the car. Accumulated dust can increase your susceptibility to allergies and common colds.

2.Load up on berries-they have vitamins, minerals, anti-oxidants and are a delicious way to stock up on the season's best.

3. Do not move out without your glares. In summers, your eyes need protection too!.

4. Eat seasonal fruits-be it oranges, grapes, water melon or mangoes. They help fight against seasonal diseases.

5. Instead of clogging your skin with harmful chemical laden sunscreens, make your own concoction at home by mixing together equal portions of lemon juice, almond oil and honey and
apply it on your skin daily. Wash off with cold water after 15 minutes.

6. Double your intake of water and fresh juices and halve your intake of tea and coffee. Tea/coffee reduces your metabolism.

7. Have a glass of coconut water every day, especially before venturing out in the sun. Also gorge on juicy summer fruits. It keeps you hydrated through the day

8. Never move out without a bottle of your own water. If thirsty you might end up drinking unhygienic water or bottled water that's too cold.

9. Instead of drinking iced water from refrigerator, keep your water in an earthen pitcher and add a dash of lemon and a sprig of mint leaves in it. It will keep you cool and hydrated.

10.Apply coconut oil and keep it for one hour daily

11.cover your body with full clothing so that you may get rid of skin tan
